What is Brightspace Pulse?
Brightspace Pulse is a mobile app for students that can help learners stay connected and on track with their courses in Brightspace Learning Environment. It provides one easy view of course calendars, readings, assignments, evaluations, grades, and announcement items. The app can help learners make better decisions about how to handle workload, when to submit assignments, and when to prepare for tests. Real-time alerts can let learners stay updated. The schedule view and weekly visualization enables learners to quickly at a glance view what is due today, this week, and upcoming across all their courses.

How to get the Pulse App
- Download and install the Brightspace Pulse app by D2L on your mobile device (iOS or Android) from the Google Play™ store or Apple App Store®.
- Launch the App
- In the field labelled Pick your school, type in Calgary Board of Education and select it from the search results
- Login with your regular CBE Brightspace username and password
- Logout of the app when you have finished.
